Laser hair removal is permanent..

Is laser permanent for hair removal or it just slows down hair growth?

laser hair removal is good because it makes the hair follicles die so that hair stops growing. However, it's possible for the hair to grow back again in a few years

Is laser permanent for hair removal or it just slows down hair growth?

It's semi-permanent. It will get rid of most hairs after six treatments, and the regrowth will be very light and fine for a time, but you will need to go back for a touch-up treatment every year. I didn't, and three or four years on, the hair is back to about 60% of what it was to start with.

Permanent body hair removal?

i have heard about some laser techniques

Permanent body hair removal?

When getting hair removal make sure you dont sunbath/tan bed just before...wait 72hrs. also it doesnt work on true blonde hair or white hair...it needs the darker color to attract the laser. in our spa most can be taken care of in 4 to 6 treatments...but we continue to treat until it is removed...without further cost to you. as far as cost goes....chin is about 300.00 total cost....whole legs about 1300.00 total cost bikini with underarm about 700.00 total cost. it should not cause any real pain...you do feel the zap of the hair which is uncomfortable ....but if it is causing real pain then you should stop the treatment....wait a few days and make sure you dont blister....if you do you need to talk with the doctor or find another one.

Permanent body hair removal?

It's not really that costly in the long run ...because you only have to do it once. then your shave free. Report It

Permanent body hair removal?

i hear it hurts and irritates the skin

Permanent body hair removal?

it costs @ 1,000 for 3 sessions...generally the thinner your hair the faster the laser works...thicker hair requires more sesions. make sure you find a qualified hair removal specialist...and it does not hurt...but you do feel a pulse sensation when the laser is on.

Permanent skin hair removal?

If you want the best results laser hair removal is the way to go. If you do have the money that is and provided that you are a suitable candidate

"I am afraid it is not possible to treat very light shades of hair such as white, grey, light blonde etc.

In addition to hair colour people with dark skin can only be treated with very specialised lasers available at very few laser hair removal clinics. Tanned people with light hair cannot be treated.

The treatment works best on light skinned people with dark hair."

There is a good FAQ section on this website: http://www.laidbare.info/laser-hair-remo...

That should answer most of your questions about laser hair removal.

Hope this helps :)

What is the difference between permanent electrology hair removal and permanent laser hair removal?

Electrolysis only treats one follicle at a time, can only treat visible hairs and really hurts. Because of its constraints it is not feasible for large, dense areas.

Laser hair removal covers about a quarter size area per pulse and is quite fast. For laser to work, the hair cannot be white or really blond.

Make sure you go to a good provider for either option. The attacheds site has more info and certified providers.

What is the difference between permanent electrology hair removal and permanent laser hair removal? thanks?

normally, if u just do electrology, it will grow bak faster, the more u cut, the more and faster it grows the permanent will grow back slowly as if u never cut it in ur life. it will take yrs to grow long

hope i helped 閳?br>What is the difference between permanent electrology hair removal and permanent laser hair removal? thanks?

electrology kills the root of the hair growth...and stops sebum (oil) secretion in the area...my mom said it was really painful when she did her upper lip area as they tweezed each hair and then killed the follicle. now 20 years later her skin has only started to wrinkle in that area. But the hair never returns.

whereas laser is considered less painful, but the hair will grow back (at only a 10% of the original growth)

hope that helped!

Any information or anyone with personal experience w/male permanent laser hair removal on & arou

Would like to know recommendations as to types of procedures and lasers? Would also like to hear from both male and female prespective (pro's and con's) with permanently removing male hair on and around genitalia and surrounding area? Any idea as to the duration of the treatment or treatments as well as the cost?

Any information or anyone with personal experience w/male permanent laser hair removal on %26amp; around genitals?

Laser hair removal works great in this area. The area also becomes much more sensitive after removal so take that for what it is worth.

Make sure you go to someone who knows what they are doing. The attached site is helpful.

I definately think guys should be well groomed. Nothing like choking up a hairball to ruin the mood.

What are some general costs to permanent laser hair removal?

For instance, if I wanted to have my entire back done? Or perhaps just the hair on the back of my neck done that grows back 10 times faster than my fresh haircut can keep up with?

If you have a website that lists costs it would be helpful. The best I have been able to find are sites or Doctors offices that want consultations first. I'd like to have a general idea of cost before I step in the door....so I'm not wasting my time.

What are some general costs to permanent laser hair removal?

I'm paying for my chin and neck to be done, it's 鎷?0 per treatment and they say it should take no more then 10 treatments. The clinic I'm using in Sutton UK near London charge about 鎷?00 to do a package for back %26amp; neck. It's exspensive but I think totally worth it for the peace of mind you get from not having the hair you hate being on your body. Good Luck

What are some general costs to permanent laser hair removal?

My mom does electrolisis. She charges 45 per half hour 70 per hour, from what she said. You basicaly have to go and hit each pore with this method, so if you are really hairy it will take longer and it depends where its being done too.

What are some general costs to permanent laser hair removal?

I searched my area extensively and found that prices were generally pretty stable. They offer many different packages, such as: Back of Neck, Upper Arms, Lower Arms, Buttocks, Chest, Back and Neck, and more specific areas like Face, Bikini Line, Eyebrows.

Hair removal isn't cheap...regardless of the process or package chosen. For instance, to have you back done and follow through with the general 6 treatments....you're looking at about $750. If you're a really hairy guy just looking to reduce the amount of hair....then one to three treatments will do you fine. I spent $375 to have my legs done (because they were like ape legs). I still have leg hair, but absolutely nowhere near where it was and definitely not so "Hey, Look at the hair on that guy."

I am going to have my chest done the same way. I'm not opposed to body hair....just the amount that I have. I'm finding that most men are the same way.

What are some general costs to permanent laser hair removal?

The site below gives general pricing. Also, if you call them, they have practice pricing from around the country and they can give you a general idea on pricing if you describe the area you want treated. At the end of the day, you will need a consultation to get exact pricing as everyone grows hair a little differently. I paid $600 for 6 Tx of LHR on the back of my neck. The results have been great. Like you, I had to get haircuts just because of my neck hair. 6 years later, that is no longer the case.
