It's semi permanent.

You will need a couple treatments so that it is permanent. Many people have gotten severe burns from laser hair removal and now they have to live with that. So you always have to be alert and make sure you talk with the person whose doing that to you. I heard that it doesnt work as well on african americans (no i'm not being racist) thats just what i heard..also go here

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE TEN QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR SURGEON!!!!! THATS VERY VERY IMMPORTANT

Your back and chest are going to cost you a few hundred depending on how hairy you are. It is generally permenant but some areas may have to be gone over twice. It will take a few visits as they will not do a large area at once.

Under FDA regulations the only statement any laser hair removal place can make is hair reduction. It will reduce about 85% or higher of the hair. It takes at least 3-4 treatments as hair grows in cycles and it's nearly impossible for it to get all of it. prices vary. 4 treatments on full back is about $2800 where I am going. I think it's about the $2300 or higher on the chest and abs. Be sure you find a good center as lower intensity should be started and they increase intensity throughout the treatments. Numbing cream is available to help control pain which is applied approximately an hour before treatment and the area is covered with plastic wrap until treatment time. Good Luck..

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://3rc.info/
