Removing Unibrow?

A male friend of mine who has a unibrow and really does not like it. I am trying to help him research and he is undecided on whether to use tweezers and pluck the stray hairs or just let the hair stay. Waxing and permanent hair removal are not options at this point of time for him as he does not own a car that would get him to the beauty salon or can afford it. How fast do the hairs grow back when you tweezer them? THat is the main concern. He does not want to tweezer every day.

The more you tweeze, the slower the hairs will grow back. Tweezing damages the roots. You may have to tweeze every couple of weeks for the first little while. I tweeze my eyebrows about once a month (but I've been tweezing for years).

Start after a hot shower or steam the face to open the pores. Hold the skin taut, and pull in the direction the hair is growing. If it hurts apply gentle pressure for a few seconds with a finger. A cool cloth or aloe gel right after tweezing will reduce redness.

Lastly, a word of caution. Do not over tweeze. It can be habit forming! Step back from the mirror and look at the whole face every few hairs to make sure that you aren't making the eyebrow too thin or lopsided. Goodluck!

Tweezing is the best plan, and he wont have to tweeze everyday, just gradually start tweezing so its less noticeable, it usually takes about 2 weeks for it to grow back.

It takes about a week or so for an individual hair to grow back. Tell him tweezing doesn't hurt and it's cheap and easy.

Waxing is the only way your going to get rid of all of it. See if you can have a friend to take him or something.
