If your skin is light and your hair is dark, you're a great candidtae for a successful treatment, but light hair/light skin or dark hair on dark skin don't provide enough contrast for the laser to work effectively.

I've done it. It is permanent. Hair that gets zapped away is gone forever but each strand of hair grows at different rates, that's why you need multiple sessions, spaced apart.

Well, I speak from experience that this is NOT permanent. Even after I had the series of eight treatments, the hair still came back ARGGGHHH - what a waste of money. It didn't even grow back finer like they said it would. It came back just as coarse as it ever was. It did take longer to grow back, but it still came back nonetheless.

Sorry - I would say don't waste your money, go for a wax instead.
