Why when hair is removed it seems to grow back thicker?

I have used so many products to deal with unwanted hair, Nair, waxes, and even painful tweezing. Why does it seem that the hair is just getting thicker??? I'm thinking about getting permanent hair removal laser surgery. Has anyone had this done before? Does it hurt???

Why when hair is removed it seems to grow back thicker?

The hair seems to grow back thicker because when you shave, you cut the hair off at the middle, which is a thicker part of the hair, so when it grows back, the thick part moves up.

Why when hair is removed it seems to grow back thicker?

don't know about laser removal, but i wax every 8 weeks, and my hair is growing back finer, less noticeable. because the hair folicle in the pore is being damaged, it's harder for the hair to grow back as normal.

laser surgery is use to destroy the hair production cell, so it will feel a little bit pain depend on which part you do it!

Why when hair is removed it seems to grow back thicker?

It does that because when you remove dead hair and dead particles, the new hairs come up rapidly because they have been covered for long. That is why it is so important to trim your hair so it will grow longer. Hope I could help
