Waxing for men!?

Hello!

i am a 25 yrs old indian male with normal skin type. I wanted to ask

you about waxing techniques. i am not very hairy but i do have fair

amount of hair on my body. I've never really liked body hair and have tried

a few things to remove them i have used depilatery creams and shaved a

few times as well...mainly my chest. and now i usually trim them really

short, but still somehow not really satisfied. Now honestly i can not

afford a permanent laser hair removal(though i wish i could) so i guess

waxing is like the next best thing. so i just wanted to ask you can i

wax my chest still..despite of the fact that i have been trimming it

regularly, i mean wil it hurt a lot now? and since there aren;t any spas

that offer waxing for men. i'd be doing it at home only. so if u could

help me with some tips...i'd really appreciate that.

Thank You and God Bless

Waxing for men!?

Don't do it by yourself. Get a profesional to come home and do it. If you live in India it's very cheap. I, personally, live in the UK and it costs 鎷?5 for my legs so i'm guessing it would be around that much for your chest.

On your chest it won't hurt TOO badly but if you have been trimming them it may hurt a bit more. If you have a lot of fat then it will hurt if it's muscle you won't feel it.

Waxing for men!?

well, i heard that waxing is pretty painful and it can make you bleed if you do it at home, not by a professional, and it can rip your skin off along with your hair. so, i dont know. but, there's this really good waxing kit from sephora. i would go check it out. its about 45 dollars

Waxing for men!?

hold the hairs that r unwanted imean hold it very tightly, close your eyes and skid them out very fast, then open your eyes .Now u can cry loudly with joy for hair removal.

Waxing for men!?

I could very well make out from ur question that u r craving to have A body like SALMAN KHAN!!! If u ask me, I'd say "FORGET IT, BUDDY!" Y wud u want 2 go the feministic way? C'mon man! Guys thronging the salons and parlours to get their pimples %26amp; warts removed, hair fixed and all is fine... But waxing??? It's only funny! Ur body hair would only add to ur manliness... make u look macho! without them u'd look like a cleanly shaved BEAR!

Waxing for men!?

wax where?!?!?!?

Do i have polycycstic ovary syndrome or some hormonal issue?

okay when i read magazines or stuff about puberty its always like...some girls like..o my gosh i have 2 stray hairs onmy chest and nipple and then its like..o dont worry..during puberty having stray hair on yout stomach, breast, chest, nipple, even butt (eww) is pretty normal..just pluck them..then they say..if you have more than that much hair in that area see a doc cuz u have POS or anothr hormone issue....ok im 14 and i have hair evrywhere..i shave my legs, and underarms, and get my back and arms waxed..my mom said wheen im older and have the money i can do permanent laser hair removal..cuz full body wxing is gross and i wouldnot do it plus it would cost a fortune..and my hair grows back extremely fast..my wax shoulda lasted witout growth at least about 2 wks..3 days for me..i am italiana, spanish, and persian, and my fathers extremely hairy..but not my mom..for some reason..my older bro has less hair then me and its lighter on his body..yet the hair on his head is much darker...so.

Do i have polycycstic ovary syndrome or some hormonal issue?

Definitely, that's not a polycystic ovary syndrome..! believe me, I do have a knowledge of that syndrome.. your hair problem is genetically inherited from one of your parents. I also have the same case but don't bother too much, its a normal thing and there's nothing wrong with you.. But if you want to get rid of your hair, follow your mom's advice, when youre older get some permanent hair removal treatment.. you worry too much.. I'm 20 but I don't shave my legs, it will just make it worse.. And remember not to add up too much expenses to your mom, do something when you're already working okay? =D

Do i have polycycstic ovary syndrome or some hormonal issue?

It could be anything; don't prolong your suffering! See a doctor. If it's hormones they can prescribe medication. If it's not hormones, well they can still prescribed something to slow down the hair growth on your face at least.

Do i have polycycstic ovary syndrome or some hormonal issue?

Go to the doctors they can put your mind at rest either way and give you something to help it. If it is anythin serious you are better finding out sooner so you can go some way towards treating it

Do i have polycycstic ovary syndrome or some hormonal issue?

probably you didn't wax correctly, or you are examining yourself too closely... waxing should last more than 3 days. i would just keep trying the waxing - maybe try another brand or something.

Peace+

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

What is the safest, and fastest way to remove unwanted hair. One that's also not expensive and permanent I heard about this one product called Revitol Hair Removal Cream but I don't know if its safe. Thanks in advance! :)

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

laser treatment but it cost A LOT

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

shave

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

Shave; or go to like walmart and buy the Wax strips, They're pretty easy; The first time might hurt though.

GOOD LUCK!

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

well we would need to know where its at

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

Lighter fluid and a bic has always worked extremely well for me.

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

You can shave, but it grows back quickly and is all spiky. Or you can wax it, which lasts longer and the hair grows back tapered. Or you can use hair removal cream like you said (We have some but it doesn't work for me) Also you can get mitts which you put on your hand and rub up and down your leg or you can have laser treatment, which lasts ages but I've heard it's expensive.

Quikest way to remove unwanted hair?

If you are unsure of chemical products, I have started using one of those battery operated personal trimmers. The cheapest one I bought was $5 at a Walgreen's. I bought a Remington trimmer for $10 at Target as well. They are perfect for lip, eyebrow and chin hairs because they don't hurt and there is no redness or bumps. You don't even have to do it as often as shaving. You can't even tell hair once lived on your face :) Every once in awhile thou a good professional waxing is great

Sorry just read that you said its for legs...

Aveeno has a shaving cream that helps you to shave less often, or you could just try Veet or even the home waxing kits, but be careful they can burn.

You can check out the Walgreen's site and that way you know what you are looking for when you shop.

Good Luck and hope it helps.

What is the best way to permanently remove hair from a mole on my face?

How can I permanently remove hair from a benign flat mole on my face. Its cute, but it sprouts a few hairs that I pluck.

Id love to find a more permanent solution. Some doctors have told me laser hair removal, some say electrolysis, but some places wont do electrolysis on a mole. Has anyone has any experience with this?

What is the best way to permanently remove hair from a mole on my face?

Both laser and electrolysis are the latest techniques for permanent hair removal, and they are both very safe. Look for spas and beauty clinics in your city/state for a better advice.

What is the best way to permanently remove hair from a mole on my face?

all I can say is be really careful....moles are not to be messed with and some can turn to cancer, make sure you follow a doctors advice......

What is the best way to permanently remove hair from a mole on my face?

I am an esthetician and some of my clients have raised moles that I wax. They tell you in school to NOT wax raised moles because you can rip it off, but I am VERY VERY careful. You may have to call all the electrolysis centers in your area and specifically ask them if they'll do it for you.

Laser hair removal is definitely an option. The only problem is that lasers target pigment, so the lighter the skin and the darker the hair...the better. Is your mole dark? If so this might be a problem. I hear there are newer lasers that can target dark hair with dark skin (like for African Americans). So if your mole is dark, you may have to find that kind of laser. Call around to some medical spas in your area. Check for an Ageless Remedies in your area, they are very knowledgeable

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

I used to think the phrase "It'll put hair on yer chest" associated body hair with manliness. However its seems that 21st century ideal man is the bodily bald metrosexual, I think the term is, instead of aforementioned bear-man. I wonder this because I am a naturally hairier guy and I wanted the female insight. Also does is laser hair removal permanent or is waxing more preferable. Ladies please oblige

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

:) It depends on the girl, really. Most dont mind body hair (we do realize that in real life most guys are hairy) as long as it isnt like grizly man or something going on :) Just keep it neat.

As to hair removal, waxing (especially large areas) is really painful (not the best option ever) and laser hair removal, while it is permanent, can take several sessions and is fairly expansive. Like I said- just keep it neat and dont worry about being hairy, it's not a huge deal. But if you are set on hair removal you might try something like Nair first (it's quick, painless, and not permanent-though it does lat longer than shaving- the only downside is it smells bad).

Hope that helps.

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

I dunno, I'm a guy.

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

No. Keep your hair. If its over excessively hairy, you might want to think about it. But men with more hair on their chest is definitely better than hairless dudes.

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

No, I don't prefer hairless men. It's feminine. My boyfriend's pretty hairy, and I kind of like it. His chest hair tickles when we hug, and it's fun to play with when we're cuddling. Plus he looks extra manly and rugged. I think it's hot.

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

i dont like it if guys are SUPER hairy,,, but some isnt bad,,,

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

No! Men should have at least a little hair. If it's excessive and it bothers you, you can shave, wax, trim, whatever. But don't get rid of all your body hair, especially not on places like your arms and legs. If you have a hairy chest leave it, I kinda like it. And please, please, please do not shave all your pubic hair off. I think it looks so unmanly.

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

no, don't remove ur body hair. ive been raised w/ my mom saying that a hairy man is just a more manly-looking man. i just believe hair doesnt look bad on men. plus its not worth going thru all that trouble of waxing, shaving, and laser hair removal. hair doesnt look bad on men.

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

I have never liked hairy men much. I don't mind hairy legs/arms at all but I am simply not a big fan of extremely hairy chests, and hairy backs are a huge turn off for me. This is speaking just in aesthetic terms, if I love someone I don't care whether they are hairy or not.

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

omg, please don't remove the chest hair!! I Hate those bald men's looks, with a passion!! I have no idea which is best for hair removal, say on the back,,but some men shave their armpits and/or privates. I'm old school, but have no objection to smooth privates,or trimmed closely or a smooth back.A manly man cranks my turn,I've been known to walk away from "bald"bodies, noo thanks!! Reminds me of children!

Do Women Prefer Hairless Men?

yeah

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

I dont want any permanent treatment. can I wax that hair?? Is it true that shavin with a razor is not good?? using a cream hair removal system is too boring %26amp; time consuming. Whats the best way??

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

I don't know where you learned that using a razor for underarm hair wasn't good, but you got bad info. Using a razor is the easiest temporary way to remove underarm hair. If you have a nice sharp razor each time you shouldn't have any problems. Sometimes a dull razor can cause some problems such as razor burn and itchy bumps because the razor was too dull to cut the hair correctly so you have little stubbles still there. Also you must be sure to use a good shaving cream each time too. If you don't have any shaving cream make sure to lather up under your arms really well with soap and water before shaving. If you don't you will have a very painful razor burn.

You can wax under your arms but it is not a comfortable process. In fact it is quite painful.

Just buy yourself a good razor and shaving cream and stick with that.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

leave it alone.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

Shaving is best, creams burn and irritate.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

Get it waxed. It WILL hurt.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

friday the tirteen

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

there is nothing wrong with shaving....however waxing lasts alot longer....

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

gasoline, matchstick, FIRE!!!!

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

Waxing is the best way to go. The first time you do it, yes it will hurt, but the hair does grow back a lot finer, will take longer to grow, and if you keep on waxing, some of the hairs will stop growing.

If you're worried about the pain, there are pre depilatory oils that will lightly numb the skin before you wax. After you wax your underarms the 3rd or 4th time, the hair will come out A LOT easier, and waxing won't hurt as much.

I do not recommend shaving, it creates stubble and ingrown when it grows back, the hair will get thicker if you shave.

The depilatory creams can irritate underarm skin. The underarm area is very fragile and sensitive. Using those types of creams can burn.

I wax my underarms all the time. It's easy for me and my underarms are no longer dark from hair follicles. I don't think waxing hurts at all.

The only con I can think of for waxing, aside from the pain, is the cost. And that's if you get it professionally done. I buy home warm wax kits that don't require muslin strips. I do it at home all the time. It's very easy, and much cheaper.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

Shavin and only when you needs it. Spartan

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

I wax my own %26amp; you get better with practice. Really strech your arm back - the tighter the skin, the less it hurts. But you get used to the short discomfort. Much better than horrible shaving or useless creams.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

waxing is the best option.Shaving will make the skin hard %26amp; eventually make it black.depilatory creams may be less painful but be sure of the quality as bad quality ones have harsh chemicals that may give rashes %26amp; other allergic reactions apart from darkening the skin.

A Word of CAUTION

Don't wax your underarm hair yourself - hair should be pulled off from a particular angle to make it less painful %26amp; more effective as in - pulling more hair so you'd need less pulling.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

I, myself, use the old-fashioned way: shaving ... sometimes takes longer, but a lot less painful!

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

You cant wax or shave with a razor. Do not use cream hair removal. It spoinls your skin and scar your colour. Hence, safe is razor shaving and application of dettor after shave is always welcome.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

Shaving is quick and easy but all it is doing is blunting the hair which is why it grows back so quickly and stubbley.

I suggest that you get it waxed, it is'nt that painful at all but if you are worried take some paracetomol about an hour before hand this will act as a pain relief for you.

However try to avoid getting it done around the monthly's as this make's you even more sensitive it is ok to have it around this time but it does tend to be much more painful.

Waxing extracts the hair direct from the folicle itself, so you should be able to see the root of the hair, on the wax strip.

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

wax. I have done it a couple of times, it hurts a little for me, but it's so nice not having to shave for awhile. Make sure when you go, there's enough hair for them to wax. The hair can't be too short!

What is the best way to remove underarm hair???

waxing is best
