How permanent is laser hair removal?

i am interested in laser hair removal on my back and shoulders, but am wary of the cost.

i would like to know if it really IS permanent, or just longer lasting than other forms of hair removal.

It really depends on the person, the experience of the technician and the quality of equipment used. My boyfriend is going through the process right now and there is a significant reduction in hair regrowth but it's a long process. During your initial consulatation they'll probably tell you that you'll only need 3-4 treatments but it's more like 7-8. You'll need to go every 12 weeks for treatment. Make sure the place you go to offers a life time guarantee too. This way if you have regrowth any time after you finish your treatments - you can go back for a touch up.

I'm pretty sure it's completely permanent. I'm not sure if it only takes one treatment, or if you have to go in for multiple treatments, though. You should look into that.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
