Do permanent home hair removal kits really work?

and what brands/prices derive the best quality?

I've used Nad's (oh, why couldn't she call it something else?!?) for years now, and I love it. It's made from all natural products and goes on cool, rather than a warm, almost singeing wax. Be prepared for some pain at first- after 2 or 3 treatments, the hair will become softer and pull out more easily. Eventually, it stops growing in altogether. Contrary to popular opinion, shaving doesn't cause your hair to grow in thicker ( see: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hair-re... but it is less convenient. I once bought an infomercial at-home "laser" hair remover that was a load of bunk. Leave that to the pros. But waxing works just fine, if you can get past the initial pain process.

they work but from my experience they strip all of the color from your hair and I mean all also it made my hair very very dry I should have gone to a pro to get it fixed

You do not need to use that stuff you will mess yourself up...man you better just get use to shaving or what I do that worked for me was I used Nair and after a few uses my hair does not grow back as think and i some spots not at all ( this is on my legs) and I do not complain it is less to shave and sometimes I can get away with not shaving at all. ( I am a light skin African American) I would stick to shaving because even though you hair grows back and it gets annoying it is much safer.
